Concrete Jungle x Strongbow
Dan Lain-lain
Crafted as part of Strongbow's Refreshing by Nature campaign, the Concrete Jungle installation was designed with the aim of reconnecting customers with the natural world. In a society where people are increasingly surrounded by concrete jungles and constantly attached to technology, the project sought to rekindle the relationship between humans and nature.
The installation, shaped like trees, served as a powerful reminder for visitors to contemplate their reciprocal relationship with their immediate surroundings. Embedded with reflective elements, it confronted individuals about their detachment from nature. Through interactive features, such as sensors and lights, the installation responded to touch, illuminating the tree with light and revealing engravings resembling tree bark on the reflective acrylic surface.
By engaging with the installation, visitors were prompted to reflect on the harmonious interplay between humans and the environment that sustains us. It aimed to evoke a sense of connection and remind people of the importance of maintaining a balanced relationship with nature in our urbanized world.
